Whats New

AQUA AEROBICS -  Every Tuesday & Thursday at 7.00 - 8.00 pm. New Sunday hours 10am to 11am. Classes are €7.00 &  use Sauna & Steam Room after your class. A great physical workout. and no need to know how to swim. Did you know that you burn 300 calories when using the Sauna/ or Steam Room for 10 minutes and the Ice bath for 4 minutes............. aqua aerobics is known to burn between 500 - 800 calories.... Get together with friends or sisters, aunts, cousins, mums and grans to Get Fit in a fun way....

Interested in Lifesaving & being a Rookie Lifeguard and are aged betweem 8 - 12 years. Rookie Lifeguard check timetable for details. Train to become and RLSS certified Rookie Lifeguard. You can earn your Bronze, Silver and Gold Badges as well as certificates in Water Safety. Sessions are €8.00 and will include your awards. Awards are issued every 6-8 weeks. Get together with others your age this Friday & Saturday.

COURSES - Watch our timetable for courses in lifeguard training with the RLSS and Swim Teachers courses with STA.  We are an approved centre with both governing bodies. All our instructors are fully qualified and both disciplines.  Theses course are run throughout the year.

POOL PARTIES - throughout the year we run public pool parties for the children ages 4 years upwards.  Includes inflatable and goodie bag on the way home. Cost on entry is €5.  Watch our Facebook page for updates


JOBS - Once you have qualified as a lifeguard and have been Garda Vetted there is an opportunity for a job in the leisure industry at Edenderry Swimming Pool.  Your role as a lifeguard involves monitoring and preventing a swimmer getting into difficultly.  An extremely important part of the job is water safety.
